The river environment

The arboreal vegetation in this area is composed of Fraxinus ornus, a tree that is widespread throughout Italy, which in this case is used to create small sparse groves; in fact, it is a medium-sized tree at full maturity.

The shrub composition, on the other hand, is inspired by the river environment, with groups of indigenous species in particular and extremely drought-resistant varieties, including Cytisus and Cornus.

There are also some typically Mediterranean species that contribute to making the plant choice more ornamental.

The predominant colors are yellow and white, with orange and pink variegations depending on the various species, all tones that are very present in xerophilous environments and in the river ecosystem.
