The project for the new Conference Hall, featuring high-tech audio-video systems, reworks the proposal initially envisaged in the Master Plan at the final design stage, with a new volume and related external arrangements. The access to the new Conference Hall is moved northwards, near the Campus C square, which is accessed via a path that reaches the semi-underground level of the foyer (-4.00 metres), through a series of paths interspersed with a green and flowerbed you reach the emotional space of the small square characterised by the liquidambar grove.
The move of the access to the north is a measure that will also allow for separate and independent management of the room. The path that leads to the Foyer of the Conference Room also connects to a second small square located further south in relation to Campus A, creating the effect of a "technological village". The scenographic wall accompanies the architecture in an osmotic way with respect to the large lawn and the relaxation area of the food truck.
At an organizational level, the system is designed with access from an external Foyer, connected to the toilets and cloakroom, as well as small dedicated technical rooms. Overall, the Conference room with related services hosts 100 seats, 7 technological stations for journalists or translation, a stage with 5 seats for speakers, a telescopic station, connected by a white Corian sculpture speaker table and a high definition LED wall. The large conference room is designed as a neutral space with reconfigurable mobile seats in shades of gray, and the possibility of dividing it into two rooms that can be used at the same time.
The room is directly connected to the entire Campus.
